Idlewood Blocc Crips, known as the IC, is a fairly new gang located in San Francisco. The gang was founded by several local teenagers around 2005 after the shooting of their close friend, Tyrone Jax, outside of a 24/7 at about 3 AM. The shooter went unidentified but the Crips Gang founders claimed that it was a Mexican Gang member. The gang influenced group took the 'Gangster' lifestyle, robbing, shooting, involvements with police shootouts, and even house robberies.
The gang consists of a small amount of members, ranging from their early teens to their mid-twenties. Gang members identify themselves by sporting royal blue clothing, as well as tattoos to state their set. The gang's recent activities around the Idlewood area and the Mulhollhand neighborhood the past few years has established the GD's as a gang with a dominant presence in it's area. Crimes known to be committed by Gangster Disciple members include drug dealing, home invasions, robberies, assault, and several shootings are linked to the gang as well.
People living in the Idlewood Blocc hood have little to say about the gang out of fear that they too will find themselves looking as an enemy. There has been several attempts of witness intimidation during trials of GD members, showing the gang's lack of tolerance towards "snitches". This Crips gang has made their presence known to both rivals and locals, and to Idlewood and the Los Santos areas, they pose a threat to the safety that has already been diminished in the neighborhood.
